French companies in judicial liquidation
Type a company name or a SIREN. 1,939 companies in judicial liquidation with 20 employees or more, from the BODACC (2024–2026) and the INSEE headcount bands.
Liquidator of a company listed here? Its internal data may still have value — see the data of a French company in liquidation. Or a dated record report.
What this is
When a French company can no longer pay its debts and cannot be rescued, the commercial court opens a judicial liquidation (liquidation judiciaire) and the judgment is published in the BODACC. This site lists the companies whose latest procedure in 2024–2026 is a liquidation and that had 20 employees or more according to INSEE.
Who uses it
- Creditors and suppliers — is this company in liquidation, and since when?
- Former employees and customers — what became of a company I dealt with?
- In reorganisation instead? — see French companies in judicial reorganisation.
- Under safeguard? — see French companies under a safeguard procedure.
- Business sold by the court? — see French companies whose business was sold by court order.
What it is not
Not the BODACC, not a court registry, and not a Kbis. A liquidation ends the company's business; a part of it may still be sold. The headcount band is the one INSEE holds for the company (SIRENE), for the year shown; it can be out of date. The procedure is the latest one published in the BODACC in 2024–2026.
